The Nashoba Valley Regional Dispatch District (NVRDD) opened its doors on June 18, 2013, beginning its service to the Public Safety Departments of Lunenburg, Lancaster, Devens, and Harvard. In 2015  NVRDD added services to the Town of Bolton. The Towns of Berlin and Townsend were the latest to join in 2017. NVRDD also dispatches for the Department of Defense Military Police at Fort Devens.
NVRDD serves as the vital link between the citizens and visitors of the seven communities and their respective Public Safety Responders. Our professional telecommunications staff answers all 9-1-1 and non-emergency calls for service with empathy, integrity and compassion while dispatching police, fire and emergency medical services with the utmost efficiency.
